We are in the business of fun, but it's a serious job. We're committed to delivering memorable experiences to our players and continuing to develop our games, always striving for moddability, streamability, and our own unique look and feel.

We believe in respect and responsibility. Games are made and enjoyed by individuals together, and we want to promote a workplace and a player community with room for everyone.
We also believe in dialogue and transparency. We make games each with our own experience and expertise, but being influenced by each other and by the people who play our games is just as important.
EST. 2014
FakeFish was born when five university friends decided to go to a startup accelerator one summer. It was incredibly fun and we ended up winning the whole thing, and to this day, we're grateful for the experience and all the valuable lessons it taught us...
But even then, what followed was not all roses, but many years of trying, failing, learning, and trying again. We feel very fortunate to have come this far and still have our heads above surface, and we look forward to the road ahead!
We embrace remote work, but we also want have a space to call the home of our best work... and not just work.
Our headquarters in downtown Turku offers a space for all of us to focus, socialize, or enjoy the quiet. With our windows overlooking the market square, this is where we gather to develop our games, play other games, and enjoy each other's company.
