About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced C++ programmer with prior experience developing games with Unreal Engine. You will join the development team of our sophomore game project, a 3D survival horror first-person shooter, set to enter production in spring 2023.
The core of your work will be designing and implementing code for large gameplay systems using Unreal Engine 5. You will be working closely with the project’s Lead Programmer as well as the entire production team.
At least one professional game project under your belt as a programmer. Please tell us which title(s) you have shipped!
Skills and qualities
Strong background in C++
Ability to design and implement large gameplay systems on your own
Familiarity with Unreal Engine
Bonus points for multiplayer game networking experience and familiarity with agile workflows and related tools (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).
Our working language is English, and we need you to be able to communicate comfortably in speech and writing. Finnish language proficiency is not required.
Our HQ is in Turku, Finland, and applicants from areas with a similar time zone are preferred. If your place of residence also allows you to visit us on site, that's a big plus but not required.

About the Company
We're a Turku-based company of about 20 people as of the end of 2022, best known for our first major release Barotrauma. We've been in business since 2014, and our upcoming second title has been in the works behind the scenes since 2019.
